Raisa Lift

Barrier Free Lifts® provide safe and effective ways to transfer from almost any position to another.

The RaisaTM Lifts are specifically designed for those who have trouble standing on their own. There are three main models in our RaisaTM family; the Original RaisaTM, the Standard RaisaTM and the RaisaTM Driver. Each has different features accommodating the users wishes and needs.

The Original RaisaTMLift has been designed, produced and patented by patient lifting specialists. With a 350 lb capacity, the RaisaTM brings users to a standing position, transfers them and then lowers the user back to a sitting position.

Lexa Lift

The LexaTM Lift- is specifically designed to lift and transfer users from one location to another. The LexaTM family has three main models, the LexaTM Standard, the Motorized LexaTM and the LexaTM 600.

The LexaTM Standard - One of the advantages of the LexaTM lifts is that is comes standard with a Patient Positioner, which is designed to reposition the users while being lifted. From lying down to sitting up and vice-versa, the 24-volt battery powered Patient Positioner works by the simple push of a button.

Another feature of the Lexa lift is that the base legs can be widened to straddle wheelchairs, toilets or other seats as well as increase the stability of the lift for safer and easier use.

The electronic hand control that comes standard on all Barrier Free Lifts® makes lifting and repositioning a safe and easy task.

Diana Lift

There are three different models that vary in size in our DianaTM family; the DianaTM Comfort, Compact and Mini. All are available in either an E (electric) or H (hydraulic) models and all DianaTM Lifts can be used in a variety of patient care areas whether it be in the home or in a hospital environment. The DianaTM offers excellent support for daily patient lifting and transfers. With Diana,TM's four, double wheel, ball bearing castors, maneuvering and transferring is simple. Parking brakes are located on the rear wheels for added safety.

Another feature of the DianaTM is that the base legs can be spread manually for added stability as well as straddling wheelchairs, commodes and other seats. This leg spreading feature also provides added stability while transferring a user from one location to another.

The smoothness of DianaTM's lifting, lowering and transfer action gives the patient a safe and secure feeling. Commode use is made simple using the Barrier Free Lifts® open bottom Toileting or Universal sling. The open bottom design of these slings makes it possible for the patient to use the toilet without having to remove the sling. These slings are also designed so the user does not have to get up or be lifted while putting the sling on.

Stretcher Lift

Barrier Free Lifts Stretcher Lift®, perfect for the individual who must be transferred or lifted while lying down and/or is unable to sit up.

Working off 24 V battery power, our Stretcher Lift is equipped with two synchronized lifting straps, and is recommended for anyone weighing up to 440 lbs. The incorporation of the 2 synchronized straps greatly reduces or eliminates swaying by offering twice the stability of a lift with a single strap stretcher.

In addition, the Stretcher Lift is equipped with either an electric or air tube hand control, and is available in either a two directional (up/down) or a four function (up/down, left/right) model.

Both the charging mechanism and the spreader bar are included in the purchase of a Stretcher Lift. A Heavy Duty is also available for those over 400 lbs and up to 1,000 lbs.

The Sling Systems

Barrier Free Lifts® Sling System fulfills a wide range of functional demands. Our slings provide individuals and their care givers with great comfort and security during lifting procedures. The standard slings are amazingly easy to apply and fully adjustable to meet your needs. Custom slings are also available. One of the most important features of our slings is their open bottom. The adjustable opening allows the sling to be put on while the person being lifted remains seated. While still providing maximum support and comfort, the sling can be put on without having to pick up the patient. The sling isn't stuck under the patient's bottom!

Universal Sling - This opened bottom sling can be put on while an individual is seated without having to do any lifting. There are many attachment options available that enable an individual to be positioned from reclining to sitting. The Universal Sling is available in sizes from extra small to extra large.

Universal Head Support Sling - Another open bottom sling with all of the advantages of the Universal sling, plus Head Support for those who need it.

Two Piece Quick Sling - The least restrictive sling available, for quick application and easy access for unfastening clothes. One strap fits around the back and under the arms, with the second strap passing under both legs.

Three Piece Quick Sling - This sling is also very quick and easy to get on and off. The Three Piece Quick Sling provides one strap for around the back and under the arms and a leg strap for each leg. With more ability to hold the legs open than the Two Piece, The Three Piece Quick Sling works better for using the toilet, catheterization and perineal care.
The Patron Sling
The "Patron" Sling - A white powder coated, tubular metal sling which wraps around the torso. Foam padded supports have the unique ability to fit a variety of body sizes. The Patron Sling has a sizing feature to prevent the arms of the sling from squeezing the patient and inhibit breathing.

Tonya

Featuring the motorized positioner, the TONYATM is especially designed and sized for children. The child sized lift and ensures slings conform to their smaller body shapes. The "elephant trunk" shaped boom arm featured on the TONYATM is able to reach high beds and over and into cribs. Children fondly refer to the TONYATM as their "flying machine", which can pick up from a fully reclined position on the floor and reposition while the child is in the sling. The multiple colors of the lift also makes it more appealing to children.

Why did we redesign the boom arm? It works better! As mentioned before, the new boom arm looks a bit like an elephant trunk that kids love! But the real purpose of the new bend is not only to reach hard-to-reach places, but to also assure that the child can be successfully maneuvered and repositioned while the lifting arm is at peak height. The multicolored frame is much warmer and children find them quite attractive.

The purpose of redesigning a patient positioner for the TONYATM lift is for a better fit for the smaller slings. Child sized slings do not fit correctly onto adult size patient positioners. When extra small sling is attached to an adult size patient positioner it becomes stretched too tightly, therefore, not correctly conforming to a child's body. On the other hand, the child size patient positioner can be used for adult's! Our Dutch family has discovered that the smaller positioner adds "gripping" support when the lift is being used for toileting.
